Microsoft Wayfinding Application

Proof of Concept to Interactive Kiosk
An interactive kiosk developed for the Microsoft Digital Experience team to utilize event content and be a touch point for attendees.

The Problem

Tosolini Productions was approached by Microsoft to develop a proof of concept interactive map for event spaces.

The Process

As part of a team of three, we designed an interface that accounted for various means to navigate a map of various booths and iterated as the application scaled for different events.

Sketches and Wireframes
The Digital Experience team at Microsoft wanted to developed an interactive experience for use in event spaces, working from the idea of an “updated mall wayfinding” concept.

Branding the Deliverables
After delivering the proposed proof-of-concept UI, Microsoft has since used iterations of this design for three global events:
